SHOW NOTES

Welcome to Season 8 of the Soul Care Conversations podcast!

Today Steve delves into Matthew 11:28-30 and the question of being ‘yoked to Jesus.‘

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30 (ESV)

Thanks for joining us in the conversation!

If there was ever a time for hope of a new beginning in the coming new year, it would be now! 2020 has been a challenge (yes, the understatement of the year), and today’s discussion is all about how we raise awareness, in our own hearts, of how God has moved in the midst of the past year.

Episode 76 -A Covid Christmas Blessing

Christmas will be different this year - the lights, the festivities… they've all been canceled. Our plans, our gatherings… it's all going to be different. And yet there's something deep in this advent, in this pandemic, that is for us to understand.

Grab a cup of warm, soothing tea and join Steve as he takes the story of Mary and Joseph and how to live in the blessing of what might be called a Covid Christmas Blessing.

Episode 75 - The TRUE State of Your Soul

Steve sits down with Peter Ivey and together they talk about The State of the Soul---and how to use the brand new tool they developed for you.

Today’s episode is far more than a podcast: it's the distillation of what Steve and Peter both know about the soul, and how to try to get our hands around our souls--if that is even possible.

Episode 42 - Redefining Success through Doing Your Inside Job

Effective leaders work very hard to succeed, but often at the cost of their own souls. They are challenged to keep themselves emotionally and spiritually healthy in order to survive success to keep their humanity intact. This is the work within the work, and the topic of today’s podcast.

Today we turn the tables as we re-air an interview Steve gave to Warren Smith, publisher of "WORLD "magazine, and producer and host of the nationally syndicated radio program "Listening In."
