All of us are looking to discover God’s will. We all need clarity in making decisions. This exciting conversation between Steve and Father Tim Corbley unpacks spiritual discernment, defined as the art of finding clarity. This conversation is like listening to two seasoned souls talk of deep things.

Episode 10 - Exploring Dignity of the Soul

Episode 10 - Exploring Dignity of the Soul

In this episode, Steve speaks with Mel Lawrenz, former lead pastor of Elmwood Church and the author of the book “Time of Dignity.” Together they delve into the question “How do you define Dignity?”  In the process they discuss inherent worth and the assaults that are eroding our basic sense of dignity and worth: illness, aging, bureaucracy, technology, and busyness. It’s a discussion that will challenge you to think about the universal truth of the Genesis account, how that truth is violated all the time in our culture, and the ultimate truth that all people matter.

Episode 9 - The Story of Potter’s Inn

Episode 9 - The Story of Potter’s Inn

In 2000, Steve and Gwen Smith moved their family, their work, and their geography to begin living out what was happening in their inner lives. Potter’s Inn was the result of that shift.  Dustin Hibbard sits down with Steve and Gwen to discuss how a point of personal crisis was the beginning of Potter’s Inn, and how the question, “what is the abundant life?” would be the catalyst for their healing… from the inside out. They share how that healing helped to redefine their success, redefine their rolls, and helped them relax and learn to live in the rhythms of Jesus Christ, leading to a daring adventure called Potter’s Inn.
