Steve & Gwen Smith

Co-Founders, President and Spiritual Directors of of Potter’s Inn. Steve was educated at Lenoir Rhyne College, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He has pastored churches in KY, NC and the Netherlands. He is a speaker, Spiritual Director, author and companion of many. Gwen was educated at University of North Carolina - Charlotte in Nursing and Denver Seminary. She is a Registered Nurse and Spiritual Director. She is a retreat leader and offers spiritual direction and soul care. The Smiths have been married since 1980 and have four adult sons and four daughters-in-law and a growing tribe of grandchildren!

Joe Chambers

Pastor of Mountain Heights Baptist Church in Buena Vista, CO. Studied at Oklahoma Baptist University, completed a two-year certification program in Soul Care from the Potter’s Inn Soul Care Institute and Fuller Seminary. Currently an apprentice with Anam Cara in Spiritual Direction. Living with his wife Lynette at the base of Mt. Princeton, Joe is an avid reader and writer, loves to tell stories and spend time in the wilderness.

Pam Burton

Pam has worked in communications and marketing for over 25+ years, primarily in the non-profit field. She joined Potter’s Inn in 2019 as the Executive Producer of the podcast. Pam has a B.A. in Communications from the University of Colorado, and lives in Colorado Springs with her cantankerous dog Levi, who likes to wake her up in the middle of the night howling. She loves the mountains and hiking, and firmly believes that everyone has a story just waiting to be told. Someday she would like to write a book filled with these stories.
